Joey Bokor is the owner of Kerby’s Nursery, a family-owned independent garden center in Seffner, Florida. As a second-generation nursery owner, Joey brings hands-on experience in horticulture, retail, marketing, and customer experience.
Under his leadership, Kerby’s has evolved beyond a traditional garden center into a destination focused on plants, education, events, and memorable experiences. Joey is passionate about helping independent garden centers thrive by combining strong horticultural traditions with innovative marketing, merchandising, and customer experiences.
From plant selection and merchandising to social media and events, Joey is involved in nearly every aspect of the business. He believes garden centers have an opportunity to be more than places where people buy plants - they can inspire people to connect with nature and be a part of a life lived outside.
